Worship Arts Ministry We are entering an exciting time in the life of the First Baptist Church Worship Arts Ministries and there are many places that you may be able to serve.There are two primary requirements in being actively involved in the FBC Worship Arts Ministries:
Two, you must display either an intermediate aptitude in your performance area or a desire to apply yourself fully to the development process of musicianship/acting. Praise Team Ministry The FBC Praise Team Ministry is involved with each Sunday morning and special worship service events. We have finally launched our second ministry team giving us twice as many positions to fill. Choral Ministry The FBC Choir is open to all people ages 15+ and we are always looking for more people. Soloist or Ensemble Singing At First Baptist Church we try to incorporate solo and ensemble singing with the other elements of our services as expressions of worship. Resound Resound in the FBC handbell choir. We work hard and have a lot of fun together. We prepare and perform seasonal material to share with our church family and with the City of Sheridan. Instrumental Ensemble Historically serving only on Christmas Eve, the FBC Instrumental Ensemble will now be transitioning into a regular, on going ministry of First Baptist. This is a chance for any and all instrumentalists, intermediate and up, to participate in an exciting new ministry venture with the goal of blessing our church and periodically leading in our worship services. Audio/Visual Ministry First Baptist Church is blessed to have a fantastic sound, lighting and video system to lend "behind-the-scenes" support to all of our staging and worship ministries. This vital ministry is open to anyone who is knowledgeable of sound reinforcement and who has an aptitude for understanding electronics. Don't worry... training is mandatory for all A/V volunteers.
