MOPS meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday
A MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR
Women's Ministries is an integral part of First Baptist Church, which seeks to serve the church as a whole, women in particular, and the community of Sheridan. Women's Ministries accomplishes these goals through encouraging spiritual growth, service to one another, Christian fellowship, and opportunities for outreach.
More than 70 women are involved on six major committees, including Hospitality, Joy, Missions and Ministries, Spiritual Growth, Girlfriends Unlimited, and Outreach.
The women on these committees use their talents, spiritual gifts, experiences, and passions as they seek to serve God in unique ways. What great things can be accomplished when we combine the commitment of these women with God's supernatural power!
The information below outlines the various facets of our organization. We believe that there are numerous needs within our church that women can help meet and that each woman has gifts and a calling from God to help meet those needs.
Please use this information to find out what is available for women in the church and prayerfully consider how you can participate in Women's Ministries. Also use it as a prayer guide to remind you to pray for the various areas of service. I am looking forward to seeing how God can use us together during the coming year.
