ADULT & SR. HIGH SUNDAY SCHOOL - Winter 2011-12
The new Sunday School Quarter is here!
Please take note of the classes being offered and
prayerfully consider which class you will participate in.
Facilitator: Gary Kopsa – Meeting In Room 137
Class: Poetry of the Kingdom
When God moved the writers of Scripture, He often moved
them to express His revelation in poetry and poetic form.
This class will focus on the poetry of Scripture. But it will also
consider Christian poetry from non-biblical sources, drawing
from poetry of the 2nd century up through the 20th. It is the
intention of this class that our hearts be not only instructed, but
also delighted…for the glory of God.
Teacher: Adam Fitch – Meeting in the library
Class: Basic
What, exactly, do we believe at First Baptist Church? We're
glad you asked! Join Pastor Adam during the Sunday
school hour for BASIC, a Sunday school class designed to
teach the foundations of Christianity, the background of the
Baptist denomination, and the unique aspects of First
Baptist Church. Are you new to our church, or thinking of
becoming a member? This would be a great class for you!
Teacher: John Tollakson – Meeting in Room 135
Class: Potpourri
This class is designed as thirteen stand alone lessons. This
is an ideal class for those who are unable to attend on a
regular basis or those who appreciate studying varied topics
during the quarter.
